KATRICE CRAWFORD, ​BS, MS, PhD

Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice

Katrice has worked within the criminal justice system for over 25 years in various roles to include, ​but not limited to a correction officer, a probation and parole officer, a mobile security supervisor, ​a classification specialist, an intelligence analyst, and an adjunct professor. She has also been ​affiliated with the military as an active duty and retired spouse, which has afforded her the ​opportunity to work with diverse groups across the country. Katrice has obtained a PhD in Criminal ​Justice from Capella University, a Master of Science degree in Public Safety with a specialization in ​Criminal Justice from Capella University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a ​minor in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She has a heart for people and ​believes change is possible. Katrice has shown great resilience in her own life as depicted in her ​book

MR. DON CRAWFORD, BS, ​MS

Contracting Officer and ​Retired Military

Don is a Senior Contracting Manager with over 30 years of leadership and program management and a ​highly successful and accomplished Contracting Officer. He has experience in all aspects of contracting ​from cradle to grave (acquisition planning to closeout). Don also has specialized in service and ​construction contracting practices. He has trained and guided over 180 personnel as the Senior Training ​Manager for three organizations executing over 2000 contract actions in excess of $200M. He has ​developed professional enhancement programs for military and civilian team members. He has also ​transformed corporate policy into strategic action plans ensuring full implementation of organizational ​visions while successfully achieving established goals for both acquisition and military platforms. ​Moreover, Don has fulfilled dual roles as Contracting Officer and Senior Personnel Manager (First ​Sergeant), responsible for the day-to-day operations, accountability, professional development, morale, ​and welfare of all members, civilian, and military.


Specialized skills include: Contract Management, Project Management, FAR/DFARS/AFFARS, Leadership / ​Team Building, DAWIA Contracting Level III, Microsoft Office Suite, Written & Oral Communication



LAROME MYRICK BA, MS, PhD

Executive Director

Division of Youth Services

A result-driven executive level professional with comprehensive experience in areas of criminal justice, ​parole management, and corrections. Larome is versed in providing cross-functional leadership and ​overseeing relevant functions to include policy development, program management, community ​relations, operations management, and stakeholder management. He has demonstrated success ​spearheading the establishment of community partnerships and proactively representing organizational ​interests to ensure the quality delivery of services.


In addition, Larome is a strong communicator experienced in directing program and service delivery ​functions, collaborating with senior management units on major initiatives, and managing relationships ​with diverse agencies and members of the public. He has also been accountable for designing and ​implementing staff curriculum, maintaining organizational policies, and serving as a subject matter ​expert within specialized parole programs. Further, Larome is a multifaceted professional capable of ​leveraging extensive industry experience and management skills to drive the continued achievement of ​organizational objectives.


Larome is known as a versatile contributor with experience in all core program administration and ​delivery functions, exceptional communication and leadership skills, and a continued commitment to ​implementing industry best practices.


MRS. ASIA PERSONS

BS, MS, MPA

U.S. Probation Officer

Asia is a highly motivated and hardworking individual with experience working with juvenile and ​adult offenders. Her professional background includes providing a variety of challenging tasks for ​different organizations both in the public sector and in the private sector. Asia is a strong ​professional with a Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Political Science from Tuskegee University and both a ​Master of Science (M.S.) in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) with a ​concentration in Criminal Justice from Jacksonville State University.


MS. ALLISON RICHARDSON, ​BS, MS

Community Corrections ​Supervisor

Allison is an experienced Supervisory Agent within Community Corrections. She has a demonstrated ​history of working in the law enforcement industry. She is also skilled in Communication, Research, ​English, Problem Solving, and Project Management. Allison has obtained a Bachelor of Science in ​Homeland Security and a Master of Science in Administration of Justice and Security focused in ​Criminal Justice and Corrections from University of Phoenix.
